Greenwood drivers comparing tire shops can reach Indianapolis Tire Shop at 3351 W Morris St, 11.0 miles away, rated 4.5 from 85 Google reviews. Compare shops on the total installed price for your exact tire size rather than the sticker price per tire, and call before you drive.
Choosing a tire shop in Greenwood usually comes down to a handful of phone calls. Ask each one the same question, with the same tire size, and write the answers down.
A rating is a starting point and not a verdict. Indianapolis Tire Shop is listed at 4.5 from 85 Google reviews, and reading the individual reviews tells you more than the average does.
What do I ask each tire shop before choosing?
Give each shop your size and vehicle, then ask for the out-the-door figure. That means tires, mounting, balancing, disposal and tax in one number. A low per-tire price with fees added later is not a low price.
- Is that price for all four or each tire?
- Does it include balancing and old-tire disposal?
- Can the tires be here when I arrive, or must they be ordered?
Is it worth leaving Greenwood for a tire shop?
The shop at 3351 W Morris St is 11.0 miles from Greenwood, so it is a deliberate trip and not a detour. That makes sense when the quote is clearer or the tire you want is confirmed in stock. It makes less sense for a small job you could settle nearer home.
New Whiteland (4.1 miles) and Beech Grove (7.6 miles) are the other areas named alongside Greenwood. Both are straight-line figures from Greenwood.
Should I confirm stock before driving in?
Yes. Ask about your exact tire size and brand on the phone, and ask how long an order would take if it is not on the shelf. The shop runs Mon–Fri 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Sat 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, closed Sun.
How many tire shops should I price before buying?
Two or three is enough, as long as each is quoted the same size and the same scope of work. More calls with different assumptions just muddy the comparison.
Does a higher rating mean better tire work?
Not by itself. A rating of 4.5 across 85 reviews is a useful signal, but read what recent reviewers say about the specific job you need.
Does Indianapolis Tire Shop have a location in Greenwood?
